March/April 2007-Update from Roger Knoph
……In working to meet the demands from this past winter, our company and people
have taken our level of expertise higher than we have ever been before. I think
there were many times the demand was overwhelming and yet we all did a great
job in finding better ways to ship more product in an efficient manner. I’m not
sure if we will have the luxury of another winter like this again in the near
future. I would like to pat everyone on the back for taking on these challenges
and working to increase our ability to move more product tonnage than we have
ever dealt with in the past. In December we broke a record for the most sales
in any one month and then in January we broke that record. I’m not sure when
we will get the opportunity to surpass these accomplishments again….
March/April 2007- Outreach Committee
Mandy Kelley, Kim Paxton and Josh Libby have joined existing members;
Eric Niemann, Annie Roy and Carrie Plasters to make up our new team.
We are excited to have a wide range of personalities and backgrounds
on our committee. Several areas of the company are represented on this
team, this will make it easier for all employees to share their ideas
with the committee. Current projects include:
Habitat for Humanity: We did it!! By working together, EnviroTech Services,
Inc. reached our goal of $10,000 towards the building of a new home for
a family in need. The Outreach Committee and Roger Knoph would like to
thank everyone who helped support this effort by donating time, money
or both. Great job! Be ready to swing those hammers again this spring
and summer during our future volunteer work sessions on a new home.
We are forming a new partnership with Greeley/Evans School District 6
in conjunction with Weld County Chamber of Commerce. We are hoping to
adopt an area school and offer employees the opportunity to decide if
they would like to donate money, time or needed items. A school will
be assigned to us shortly and we will meet with that school to assess
their needs as soon as possible. Volunteer opportunities will be announced
then.
New volunteer dates are being set up with the Weld Food Bank as well.
We will be brushing up on our canning skills for a great cause.

Let It Snow…Let It Snow…Let It Snow
This is the song the sales department sang for many, many weeks. Then
it snowed, of course operations had to remind the sales department to
be careful what you wish for. Do you recall the Monday night football
game, Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers? Guess what? That game was
not in Green Bay. The City of Seattle and Western Washington realized,
a little too late, they were not prepared for winter. It was EnviroTech
Services to the rescue. The IceSlicer dispatch office received an abundant
amount of calls from new customers placing orders for bulk orders and
super sack orders….
