MeltDown Beneath Zero is a blend of naturally-occurring, granular products treated with liquid de-icer that enhances the performance of the product. Pre-treating the material provides the customer with a completely blended product that will provide consistent performance and value.
Uses & Application
MeltDown Beneath Zero is a versatile product that can perform in a wide range of conditions. When applied to a snow-covered surface, MeltDown Beneath Zero quickly begins to dissolve and penetrate snow pack and ice. The bond between the ice and pavement is then broken, which allows loosened ice and snow to be easily removed.
Performance
Produced using the latest in high-yield, anti-corrosive technology, MeltDown Beneath Zero’s melting capacity rivals that of calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, but at a much lower cost. A liquid de-icer encapsulates each granule of crystal ice melt, giving MeltDown Beneath Zero superior performance by reducing bounce and scatter, increasing corrosion protection to spreading equipment, and minimizing environmental impact. MeltDown Beneath Zero is so effective that application rates are reduced, resulting in fewer chlorides released into the environment.
