Caliber M-2000

Description

Caliber M-2000 is a corrosion inhibiting, high performance liquid product used for the pretreatment of salt and sand.  A blended product, Caliber M-2000 is designed to enhance the melting performance of stockpiles, reduce bounce and scatter, and enable stockpiles to remain free flowing, regardless of temperature.  With Caliber M-2000, your stockpile will take a bite out of ice and snow.

Uses & Application

Treating a stockpile with 6-10 gallons of Caliber M-2000 per ton of granular material powerfully enhances the melting performance of the stockpile, particularly at colder temperatures.  Caliber M-2000 can be applied to a stockpile in advance or as it is being delivered. Treating the entire stockpile prior to application to the roadway eliminates the need for pre-wetting saddle tanks.

Recommended application:

• One ton salt stockpile - 6-10 gallons of Caliber M-2000
• One ton sand stockpile - 4-6 gallons of Caliber M-2000

Performance

Caliber M-2000 delivers unmatched performance at colder temperatures, allowing for the use of salt at temperatures not previously possible.  Caliber M-2000 is also less corrosive than any other products of its kind.  It is over 90% less corrosive than rock salt and over 80% less corrosive than magnesium chloride.
