Douglas County made the decision to go back to both Boothill and Buckboard roads and treat them both topically with durablend. This topical application took place on Wednesday, August 17th in the morning. Both roads were lightly bladed, not cut. Form here on out, observations will be made as to the performance of both roads with this additional, topical application.
When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, August 19th at 11:30 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were dry with no potholing or wash boarding. There was no dust on either of the roads.

This topical application took place on Wednesday, August 17th in the morning. Both roads were lightly bladed, not cut. When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, October 14th at 12:00 pm, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were dry with slight potholing on each road. The potholing on Boothill was more frequent and defined than the potholing on Buckboard. This area received a substantial amount of rain and snow over the weekend, which was most likely the main contributor to the recent potholes. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Some very mild wash boarding can be seen around the corners on Boothill as well. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Both roads were wet with slight potholing on each road. Some of the potholes on Boothill have seemed to fill up and self heal as compared to last week. Some very mild wash boarding can be seen around the corners on Boothill as well. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Both roads were dry with slight potholing on each road. Some of the mild wash boarding that can be seen around the corners of Boothill seem to be more pronounced this week.There was no dust on either of the roads.

When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, December 2 nd at 11:00 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were snow packed and icy. Areas where the snow was melting were not observable as they were saturated with water from melting.

When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, December 9 th at 2:00 pm, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads had areas of snow pack and ice, as well as standing water in some places and just slightly moist portions of road in the mostly sunny areas. The road still cannot be fully observed due to areas of snow pack and standing water. Areas that were mainly just moist saw no dust and no potholing or wash boarding.

When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, December 16 th at 11:00 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were slightly moist with areas of minor potholing and wash boarding. Potholes on both roads seem to have healed slightly in the past couple of weeks, however, wash boards on both roads are more pronounced. There was no dust on either road.

No real observations of either road could be made, as both roads were snow packed and icy from the week's snows.

When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, January 6th at 11:00 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were moist and both had increased potholing and wash boarding. On Boothill Rd., the potholes and wash boards are most prominent around the curves. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Douglas County made the decision to go back to both Boothill and Buckboard roads and treat them both topically with durablend. This topical application took place on Wednesday, August 17th in the morning. Both roads were lightly bladed, not cut. Form here on out, observations will be made as to the performance of both roads with this additional, topical application.
When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, January 13 th at 12:00 pm, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. No real observations of either road could be made, as both roads had areas of snow pack and standing water from Wednesday's snow.
There are no photos of the 1-13-12 observation due to wet and snow packed roads.

This topical application took place on Wednesday, August 17th in the morning. Both roads were lightly bladed, not cut. Form here on out, observations will be made as to the performance of both roads with this additional, topical application.
When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, January 20 th at 11:30 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were still moist from recent weather events and melting snow, and both roads saw some potholing and wash boarding. Wash boards and potholes on Boothill were more prominent around the curves in the road than in the straightaways. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Both roads were wet from the day's snow. It was difficult to ascertain the conditions of both roads, as they were too wet to have any discernible potholes or wash boards. There was no dust on either of the roads.

When Boothill ("West"- durablend application) and Buckboard ("East"- 7030 application) roads were observed on Friday, March 16th at 9:30 am, there were no visible differences in the appearance of the roads. Both roads were dry and both roads had more frequent potholing and wash boarding than was observed last month. Potholes and washboards on both roads were not only more frequent, but more pronounced as well. There was no dust on either of the roads.

Weather for the last month has been dry and warm with little to no precipitation. Breezy, and windy conditions have been frequent. Temperatures have ranged anywhere from the low 40's (F) to the low 70's (F).
